[OCG] SD19 review : Canyon Spam Dragunities !

I. NHÂN TỐ CHÍNH

Dragunity Dux
Level 4 / WIND / Winged-Beast
1500 ATK / 1000 DEF
This card gains 200 ATK for each face-up "Dragunity" card you control. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can treat 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon-Type "Dragunity" monster in your Graveyard as an Equip Spell Card and equip it to this card.

Dragunity Phalanx
Level 2 - WIND / Dragon / Tuner
500 ATK / 1100 DEF
Activate only if this card is equipped to a monster due to it being treated as an Equip Card by a card effect. Special Summon this equipped card to your field. This effect can only be used once per turn.

Normal Summon (ns) Dux, effect kéo Phalanx, Phalanx tự Special Summon (ss) và ta có 1 synchro lv6. Lựa chọn tốt nhất có thể kể đến 1 synchro lv6 trong Limited Edition Pack 16, nó có tên là Dragunity Knight - Vajuranda.

Dragunity Knight - Vajuranda
Level 6 / WIND / Dragon / Synchro
1900 ATK / 1200 DEF
1 Dragon-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Winged Beast-Type monsters.
When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can select 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon-Type "Dragunity" monster in your Graveyard and equip it to this card as an Equip Card. Once per turn, you can send 1 Equip Card equipped to this card to the Graveyard to double this card's ATK until the End Phase.

The cool part is that because of how the Yu-Gi-Oh! game system works, Phalanx's ¡°this effect can only be used once per turn¡± line is virtually meaningless. Sending it back to the graveyard appears to remove the condition Phalanx applies to itself, and while there's no official Japanese ruling stating ¡°You can Phalanx it up all you want¡±, it's an accepted fact in the OCG that you can use the same Phalanx repeatedly in a single turn. It's also completely legal in World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia. Yu-Gi-Oh! videogames are sometimes unreliable about niche rulings, but in this case, all points seem to indicate that you can Phalanx as much as you want.

Điều này chứng tỏ bạn được phép dùng Vajuranda để spam Phalanx và tiếp tục synchro lên lv8, tất nhiên chẳng lỗ gì cả .

Chỉ qua 3 lá trên, chúng ta cũng có thể đoán được phần nào hướng xây dựng deck cho dòng Dragunity, đó là bằng mọi giá search / tái sử dụng Dragunity Dux, có thể qua Sangan, Gold Sarcophagus hoặc Dragunity Knight - Gadearg.

Bên cạnh chiến thuật chính Dux + Phalanx, chúng ta cũng phải biết đến :

Dragunity Legionnaire
Level 3 / WIND / Winged-Beast
1200 ATK / 800 DEF
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select 1 Level 3 or lower "Dragunity" Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard and equip it to this card treated as an Equip Card. By sending 1 "Dragunity" card in your Spell and Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard, destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls.

Đơn giản là Legionnaire kéo Phalanx, Phalanx tự ss và ta có 1 synchro lv5 thay vì lv6 hay lv8. Catastor ko phải là 1 lựa chọn tồi khi bạn phải đấu với X-Saber.

Dragunity Aklys
Level 2 / WIND / Dragon / Tuner
1000 ATK / 800 DEF
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Dragunity" monster from your hand and equip this card to it as an Equip Spell Card. When this card equipped to a monster is sent to the Graveyard, select and destroy 1 card on the field.

Nhờ Aklys mà Dragunity có thêm một trò tự tạo lợi thế khác :
1. ns Legionnaire, effect Legionnaire kéo Aklys.
2. effect Legionnaire send Aklys vào grave để destroy 1 monster f/up của đối thủ (+1).
3. effect #2 của Aklys destroy 1 lá bất kì trên field (+1).

Tóm lại là bạn chỉ phải ns 1 monster có atk 1200 để phá được 2 lá của đối thủ .

Tuy nhiên khả năng tự tạo lợi thế của Dragunity vẫn chưa chấm dứt :

Level 6 / WIND / Dragon
2100 ATK / 1500 DEF
You can Special Summon this card from your hand by sending 1 face-up "Dragunity" monster you control from your side of the field to the graveyard. When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned from your hand, you can select 1 Dragon-Type "Dragunity" monster in your Graveyard and equip to this card treated as an Equip Spell Card.

Cơ bản là Misteil được sử dụng giống Dux và Vajuranda, tuy nhiên chúng ta có nhiều cách khám phá lá này hơn :

Cách 1 :
- ns Legionnaire và làm trò +2 với Aklys như đã nói ở trên. Kết quả : đối thủ mất 2 còn bạn có 1 Legionnaire atk 1200.
- send Legionnaire vào grave để ss Misteil. Làm trò tiếp thôi .

Cách 2 :
- ns Aklys và dùng effect #1 của Aklys để ss Misteil và equip nó vào Aklys. Làm trò thôi.

Bây giờ đến lượt trùm :

Dragunity Arms Laevatein
Level 8 / WIND / Dragon
2600 ATK / 1200 DEF
You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard by removing from play 1 face-up monster you control equipped with a "Dragunity" card. When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, you can select 1 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard other than "Dragunity Arms Laevatein", and equip to this card treated as an Equip Card. When this card would be sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, you can Special Summon 1 monster treated as an Equip Card that is equipped to this card.

Trùm cũng có effect equip như Dux và đồng bọn !
Như vậy nếu equip Phalanx, chúng ta có thể synchro Trident Dragion !
Nếu equip với Stardust...
Nếu equip với Light and Darkness Dragon (LADD), khi Laevatein bị destroy, LADD bị destroy và effect của LADD tiếp tục kéo lại chính Laevatein đó. Loop loop...

Cuối cùng là 1 field spell dành cho dòng Dragunity, tầm ảnh hưởng của nó thì xin hãy đọc effect trước khi bàn luận :

Dragon Canyon
Field Spell
Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can discard 1 card to activate 1 of the following effects:
* Add 1 Level 4 or lower "Dragunity" monster from your Deck to your hand.
* Send 1 Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Hãy xem Dragon Canyon làm được những gì :
Effect 1 :
- search Dux => synchro lv6/lv8/lv10
- search Legionnaire => synchro lv5 / phá 2.
- search Dragunity Tuner để dùng với Card of Consonance.

Effect 2 :
- send Phalanx, Misteil, LADD... vào grave để combo.

Như vậy một mình Dragon Canyon đóng vai trò quá hoàn hảo trong việc đóng vai Foolish Burial hoặc Reinforcement of the Dragon mỗi turn 1 lần. Bản thân nó là field spell cũng khiến bạn dễ dàng có nó trong turn 1 nhờ Terraforming, hoặc nhờ khả năng draw của Card of Consonance.

Nhờ Attribute Wind và attack yếu, Dragunity cũng có thể kết hợp với Debris Dragon hoặc Icarus Attack, nhưng tạm thời chúng ta cùng bàn luận về những combo thuần Dragunity trước đã.

II. COMBO

Mở đầu game - Send được Phalanx vào grave.

Nếu làm được điều trên thì khả năng turn 1 có 1 synchro lv8 là rất cao. Nếu synchro được thì làm tới luôn .
Một cách tiếp cận trận đấu khác là tìm cách ss Misteil hoặc Laevatein.
Turn 1 ko nên gọi Legionnaire vì bạn cần chắc chắn một khi đã gọi Legionnaire combo với Aklys, bạn phải destroy được 2 lá của đối thủ.

Giữa game : : - thực hiện các combo sau nhờ Dux hoặc Aklys :

Dragunity Arms Misteil + Dragunity Arms Dux
- ns Dux, ss Phalanx, synchro ra Vajuranda.
- Vajuranda effect => ss Phalanx.
- send Phalanx vào grave để ss Misteil.
- effect Misteil => ss Phalanx.
- dùng Phalanx và Vajuranda để synchro ra lv8.
=> Kết quả : mất Dux, được Misteil và 1 synchro lv8.

Biến thể : nếu bạn có 1 Misteil nữa trên tay, bạn có thể tiếp tục send Phalanx vào grave để ss Misteil thứ 2 => effect Misteil thứ 2 ss lại Phalanx => chẳng lỗ gì.

Biến thể #2 : nếu bạn có Dragunity Brandistock trong grave, thay vì chọn equip Phalanx trong đợt combo cuối, bạn chọn Brandistock. Như vậy bạn sẽ ko có synchro lv8 nhưng bù lại bạn giữ được Vajuranda và 1 con Misteil được attack 2 lần nhờ effect Brandistock .

Dragunity Arms Laevatein hoặc Dragunity Arms Misteil + Dragunity Aklys : - dùng để dọn field khi cần
Bạn có thể dùng combo này để bắt buộc đối thủ phải tốn hand xử lí hết đống synchro spam của bạn.
Kết quả : synchro ra 1 lv8 hoặc 1 lv10, cùng lúc đó send được Aklys vào grave và bạn được phá 1 lá trên field đối thủ.

Dragunity Arms Laevatein + Stardust Dragon - double protection
Laevatein equip Stardust Dragon là một trong những combo dễ thấy nhất. Cái này dễ hiểu dễ dùng rồi nên mình ko đề cập sâu hơn nữa.

Dragunity Arms Laevatein + Dragunity Phalanx : - synchro summon Trident Dragion & OTK
Combo thường thấy để synchro Trident Dragion :
-) lv4 Debris + lv6 Dragunity synchro
-) lv8 Laevatein + lv2 Phalanx

Combo để có 2 lá cho Trident Dragion destroy :
- dùng Legionnaire hoặc Dux
- dùng Aklys để ss Laevatein, dùng Laevatein để ss Phalanx, dùng Laevatein và Phalanx để synchro Trident Dragion.
